We’re headed back to The Dockhouse in Beaufort NC for another two night run of music and mayhem! Come on out July 16-17 and rage it with us. Last month’s two nighter was a big time and this one promises to be just as fun. Music starts at 9pm!
Sunday July 18, we play the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro NC! This is our first time and we are excited to be included in such a prestigious event. The Hotwires are performing as part of the “Fringe Series” with such stellar musicians as Mark O’Connor, Tony Rice, The Greencards and more! The Hotwires play at 6pm.
We’re taking the urban bluegrass sound to the beach in the next few weeks, folks! First, a private event in Bald Head Island this Friday, and then a two night blowout at The Dockhouse in Beaufort, NC June 4-5. This is our third year playing The Dockhouse for two nights and it’s always a big time! Come on out and celebrate summer on the coast!
We had a great time at The Pour House! Thanks to all the folks who came out to see the first electric Hotwires set! The place was rockin!
This week, we play the Raleigh City Museum for the Time Warp Fundraiser! The show starts at 6pm in the old Briggs Hardware building downtown. Come on out, hear some bluegrass and support a great cause!
We’re geared up for summer touring, festivals and all kinds of great shows. Our CD release party information will be announced soon along with a string of summer dates, so stay tuned!
We had a great time on the road last weekend in Western NC and South Carolina! Special thanks to Casey Elder and Lindsey Tims for filling in on mandolin and fiddle. Also thanks to Amy Coccia and Jason Poore for rocking out with us at McHale’s on Friday! Thanks to the Julep Jubilee for having us out on Saturday to support a good cause!
We’ve got a big show coming up Thursday, May 13th at The Pour House Music Hall. Our first set will be a high energy acoustic bluegrass blowout and we’ll kick it up for the second set and play electric! This will be the first time The Hotwires will attempt anything like an electric set, so come on out and rock with us!
